BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The Hendrix College women's soccer team lost their first Southern Athletic Association game of the season 2-1 in overtime at Birmingham-Southern College Saturday.
The host Panthers (4-5, 1-0) scored the first goal of the game with 2:25 left in the first half. The Warriors (7-3, 0-1) tied it up in the 58th minute when senior midfielder

The game remained tied until 1:01 left in overtime when Taylor Andrews scored on a long shot from top of the middle of the box.
Hendrix outshot the BSC 19-15 overall and 10-8 on goal. The Warriors had 11 shots in the second half and four more in overtime, including three on goal. Hendrix also led 7-4 in corner kicks.

- Fobare's goal was the first of the year and fifth of her career.
- Griffith's assist was the fourth for the freshman this season.
