IRVING, Texas - The Hendrix College moved to 4-0 on the season with a double-header sweep at the University of Dallas Sunday.
The Warriors took game one 5-3, then run-ruled the Crusaders (0-4) 10-0 in five innings.
Hendrix scored the first run of game one in the first when senior second baseman
Victoria Hughes led off with a walk, then junior right fielder
Bryanna Carlisle was hit by a pitch. Sophomore catcher
Karli Sewell followed with a sac bunt and senior third baseman
Sydney Ozersky was hit by a pitch to load the bases. Freshman shortstop
Taylor Oglesby drew a walk, scoring Hughes.
Dallas scored twice in the bottom of the first on a RBI-triple from third baseman Melanie Savala and a run-scoring ground out from catcher Stephanie Cervantes. The Warriors regained the lead with three runs in the third. Sewell led things off with a triple and scored on an Ozersky base hit. Oglesby followed with a base hit and a grounder put both runners into scoring position. After a line out, junior designated player

Aubrey Brink singled down the left field line to bring in Ozersky and Oglesby.
After a Crusader run in the bottom of the fourth made the game 4-3, the Warriors had the final run of the game in the top of the fifth when sophomore pitcher
Emily Stockalper led off with a base hit and later scored on a single by Hughes.
Stockalper (2-0) struck out eight batters and gave up three hits, three runs and four walks in the winning effort. UD's Katie Lee (0-2) gave up 11 hits, five runs and four walks with six strikeouts in the loss.
In game two, the Warriors plated eight runs in the top of the second with six hits, two errors, a passed ball, two hit batters and a walk. Sewell hit a three-run triple in the frame.
Hendrix tacked on two more runs in the fourth with Ozersky leading off with a single up the middle. Stockalper doubled to put two runners into scoring position. Freshman
Hannah Billings followed with a two-run single, scoring Ozerseky and junior pinch runner Rebecca Mader.

Dasha Donahoe (1-0) earned the win by allowing just two hits and a walk in three scoreless innings. Sophomore
Savannah Draud struck out four and allowed two hits in two frames of relief. Lety Morales (0-2) took the loss for UD.

- Sewell tied the school record with two triples in the game. She also caught two runners stealing from behind the plate.
- Hughes had three hits in the game.

Hendrix Game 2 Notes
- Sewell had the big hit of the game with a three-run triple. She also threw out another runner trying to steal.
- Ozersky extended her hitting streak to seven games, dating back to last season, with two hits and two runs scored.
- Stockalper doubled and singled.

Nikki Sanders had a double and two RBI.
