BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The Hendrix College men's lacrosse team lost to Illinois Wesleyan 26-11 on the road Sunday afternoon.

The host Titans (1-1) jumped out to a 6-1 lead in the first quarter and led 13-3 at halftime. The Warriors (3-3) were even with IWU 4-4 with four goals each in the third quarter. The Titans outscored the Orange & Black 9-4 in the fourth quarter.

For the game, the Warriors recorded 11 points, five assists, 46 shots, 22 on goal, 30 ground balls, won 12 faceoffs, 19 turnovers and two caused turnovers while going 17-of-21 on clears.

The Titans had 26 goals, 14 assists, 60 shots, 39 on goal, 52 ground balls, 29 faceoffs, 24 turnovers, two caused turnovers and went 16-of-17 on clears.

- Sophomore attacker Drew Scanlan led Hendrix with a career-high five goals.
- Senior midfielder Jason Blatt scored twice and had three ground balls.
- Freshman attacker T. Michael Thomas also scored a pair.
- Sophomore Matt Latham assisted two goals, as did sophomore Jack Gorman.
- Freshman Allen Weber scored a goal.
- Senior long stick middie Graham Marcus had a goal and four ground balls.
- Sophomore defener Dominic Dachille picked up five ground balls and caused a turnover.
- Senior midfielder Alex Ortenstone had an assist and a caused turnover.

Illinois Wesleyan Notes
- James Maibuecher recorded four goals and four assists.
- Will Rossi scored four goals with two assists.
- Michael Julius also had four goals and two assists.
- J.C. Grabarek went 22-of-31 on faceoffs with 18 ground balls and two goals.
