CONWAY, Ark. - The Hendrix College baseball team finished the three-game sweep of Central College with a 6-2 victory at Warrior Field Saturday.
The Warriors (7-9) were propelled by a complete game effort by freshman
Evan Orren (2-2), who allowed eight hits, two runs, two walks and struck out two. Billy Coppage (0-1) took the loss for the Dutch (1-5), giving up nine hits, four earned runs, a walk and a strikeout over six innings.
Central scored the first run when center fielder Seth Griffiths led the game off with a base hit and later scored on a single by catcher Michael Reuter. Designated hitter Michael Collins walked to start the second inning and scored on a sacrifice fly by Griffiths to go up 2-0.

Justin Robison singled, stole second and scored on a base hit by sophomore second baseman
Tanner Cooper.
Hendrix started the third with an infield single by freshman left fielder
Sean Dehne and bunt single from sophomore third baseman
Dylan Bowers. Sophomore shortstop
Jorge Leon reached on an error to load the bases. Junior center fielder
Drew Judson followed with a base hit through the left side, scoring Dehne. Senior designated hitter
Wyatt Hogan cleared the bases with a double to left center to make the game 5-2. Hogan later scored after a ground ball and an error.
