GAMBIER, Ohio - The Hendrix College women's lacrosse lost to Kenyon College 17-11 on the road Monday evening.
The host Ladies (3-3) led 9-2 at halftime against the Warriors (4-4). Kenyon went up 15-6 with 8:37 left, Hendrix scored four goals over a 39-second span then added another goal at 2:43 to make the game 15-11. The Ladies scored two more times in the final 2:20 for the final tally.
For the game, Hendrix had 11 goals, seven assists, 21 shots, 16 on goal, 25 ground balls, 15 draw controls, 28 turnovers and nine caused turnovers while going 11-for-16 on clears. Kenyon recorded 17 goals, three assists, 42 shots, 31 on goal, 26 ground balls, 15 draws, 20 turnovers, six caused turnovers and went 16-of-19 on clears.
