WOOSTER, Ohio - The Hendrix College women's lacrosse team lost to the College of Wooster 23-11 on the road Wednesday afternoon.
The Scots (5-1) and Warriors (4-5) were tied 3-3 a little over four minutes into the game. Wooster went on to score the next seven goals and wound up taking a 15-6 lead into halftime. Hendrix scored four of the first goals of the second half to make it 17-10 with 16:11 left, but the Scots outscored the Orange & Black 6-1 in the final minutes.
For the game, Hendrix recorded 11 goals, six assists, 20 shots, 16 on goal, 11 ground balls, 13 draw controls, 17 turnovers and four caused turnovers and went 12-for-16 on clears. Wooster posted 23 goals, 10 assists, 43 shots, 30 on goal, 18 ground balls, 23 draws, 11 turnovers, six caused turnovers and were 10-for-12 on clears.
