CLERMONT, Fla. - The Hendrix College softball team lost to #21 University of Wisconsin-Whitewater 8-1 at The Spring Games Thursday afternoon.
The Warhawks (10-2) scored a run in the top of the firs on a three hits and an error. They added three more in the second on four hits and an error. UWW went up 6-0 in the fourth on RBI-singles by right fielder Haley Morrelli and third baseman Meg Cohrs.
The Warriors (11-12) scored in the bottom of the fourth when senior third baseman
Sydney Ozersky led off with a base hit, then scored after a base hit and en error on sophomore
Emily Stockalper's at bat.
The Warhawks added another run in the fifth and the sixth for the 8-1 win.
Julia Camardo (3-0) picked up the win striking out six and giving up six hits, an unearned run and two walks. Stockalper (8-6) took the lost, lasting just 3.1 innings.

- Ozersky went 3-for-3 with a double and a run scored.

UW-Whitewater
- Morelli went 4-for-5 with three RBI.
- Mallory Koltz was 4-for-5 with three doubles, three runs scored and a RBI.
- First baseman Amy Ricci went 3-for-5 with two RBI and Cohrs was 3-for-5 with a run batted in.
