CONWAY, Ark. - The Hendrix College women's lacrosse team lost to Sewanee - The University of the South 15-5 at Warrior Field in Southern Athletic Association action Saturday.
The visiting Tigers (4-0, 2-0) jumped out to a 5-0 lead in the first 14:05 of the game. The Warriors (2-3, 1-2) scored with 7:25 left in the period on a free position shot by junior midfielder
Kaitlyn Smith. Sewanee added two more before sophomore

Meghan Ayers to make the game 12-3. Sewanee scored on back-to-back goals from Preston Cooper, then Frazier scored twice with the last being assisted by freshman
Sophie Mazzaro. The Tigers scored once more for the 15-5 victory.
The Warriors recorded five goals, three assists, 15 shots, 14 on goal, 18 ground balls, nine draw controls, 26 turnovers and 12 caused turnovers while going 13-of-25 on clears. The Tigers had 15 goals, 12 assists, 25 shots, 23 on goal, 27 ground balls, 13 draws, 24 turnovers, 17 caused turnovers and were 19-of-30 on clears.
