DANVILLE, Ky. - The Hendrix College women's lacrosse team finished the Southern Athletic Association portion of their schedule, falling 18-9 at Centre College Saturday afternoon.
The host Colonels (11-5, 5-2) jumped out to a 6-0 lead early in the first before the Warriors (4-9, 1-6) scored on a goal from sophomore
Morgan Dasch. Centre took a 13-4 lead into halftime. Both teams registered five goals in the second half.
For the game, Hendrix recorded nine goals, three assists, 21 shots, 18 on goal, 12 ground balls, six draw controls, 21 turnovers, 13 caused turnovers and were 14-of-23 on clear attempts. Centre had 18 goals, four assists, 44 shots, 31 on goal, 23 ground balls, 23 draws, 21 turnovers, 16 caused turnovers and went 11-of-14 on clears.
