ROME, Ga. - Coming into Sunday's contest, the Warriors still searched for its first Southern Athletic Association victory of the season. Though the Warriors have notched the most victories since the 2013 season, Hendrix faced a tough Berry team Sunday in its final SAA regular season contest of the 2018 year. Ultimately, the Vikings struck for three goals in the opening half and a pair of goals in the second half for a 5-0 victory from Rome, Ga. Berry remains at the top of the SAA standings while the Warriors fall to 4-12-0, 0-6-0 SAA.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- After the Vikings nailed three goals in the games first 36 minutes, the home team took a 3-0 lead into the break.
- Finding the net two more times in the second half, Berry managed the 5-0 victory after 90 minutes of action Sunday against Hendrix.

Jack Butler logged the lone shot for Hendrix while the Vikings recorded 34 shots.

Josh Neuman carded six saves in 45 minutes of action while freshman
Aaron Sahlmann landed a team-best seven saves in the 45 minutes of the second half.
- Hendrix, as a unit, collected 14 team saves while the Vikings did not record any.

"I was really impressed with the speed of play of Berry, especially in the final third," said Head Coach
Matt Kern. "They are very quick and attack well in numbers. We will work to continue to improve and finish the regular season on a high note."
UP NEXT
The Warriors conclude its conference action on the road, now will shift its focus to Saturday's home contest in Conway against Rhodes. This will be the final home game of the 2018 season for the Warriors which means Saturday's contest will also serve as Senior Day. The match is set to begin at 5:30 p.m.
