CONWAY, Ark - One day after dropping a tough four-set match to Birmingham-Southern, the Warriors looked to get back to the winning side of things with another Southern Athletic Association showdown against the Millsaps Majors Sunday. HOW IT HAPPENED
- A kill by junior Kiersten summers and back-to-back attack errors by the Majors led to an early 3-0 lead for the home team.
- Millsaps recorded an even .000 attack percentage in the opening frame en rout to a 25-19 first set win for the Warriors.
- A pair of 3-0 runs early in the second set allowed Hendrix to obtain a 9-3 edge.
- A 4-0 run and a pair of 2-0 runs capped off a 25-15 second set victory; highlighted by a nice block assist from sophomores
Allison Long and
Mallory Carty.
- The Majors converted just seven kills on 41 total attacks for a -.098 third set attack percentage; Warriors maintained an .182 percentage which resulted in a 25-13 third set victory and another sweep for the home team.
- Carty landed four kills on eight total attacks for a .375 percentage.

Claire Smith registered 13 assists and a dig.

Jeanette McGrath finished with a team-best 25 in Sunday's win.
- The Warriors recorded four service aces compared to the Majors' one.

"What I am most proud of about this game is the consistency and effort that we played with throughout the three-set win," said Head Coach Brittany Newberry. "We were more consistently aggressive in all aspects of the game and that's what Warrior Volleyball is all about."

Hendrix gets a few days off before traveling east to Georgia for a pair of SAA contests against Berry and Oglethorpe on Saturday and Sunday. The Warriors take on Berry first at 5 p.m. ET.
