Stanley and Company Rout Crusaders as Part of Home Opener

CONWAY, Ark. - Hendrix opened up the home portion of the 2018-19 season Thursday when the Warriors welcomed non-conference foe University of Dallas into Grove Gymnasium. After jumping out to a 10-point lead less than 10 minutes into the game after a successful trifecta from sophomore Jack Eaton, Hendrix managed to record 36 first half points to take a 14-point lead into the locker room. Ultimately for the home team, the Crusaders never got closer than 11 points as the Warriors held on for an 81-67 victory inside The Grove Thursday night in front of a crowd of nearly 200 basketball fans. Hendrix improves to 1-1 on the year and ends the five-game losing streak to Dallas (Nov. 15, 2015; 88-79 win in Conway).
