TYLER, Texas - Following an impressive victory over American Southwest Conference foe Ozarks Tuesday night in Conway, Hendrix looked to build a two-game winning streak against the ASC teams with a meeting against University of Texas-Tyler in Tyler, Texas Thursday night. The Warriors, who committed 10 turnovers in the first half, found themselves down 42-26 at the end of the first half and into the locker room. Hendrix shot just 18.2% from deep in the final half and was also outscored by two as the Warriors fell to the Patriots 72-54. Hendrix falls to an even 3-3 on the year while UT-Tyler improves to an even 2-2.

- After a successful layup from freshman forward
Carl Fitch to bring Hendrix within seven with 4:35 to go until halftime, UT-Tyler ended the half on an 11-2 run to take a commanding 42-26 lead into the locker room.
OF NOTE
- Hendrix shot just 1-of-12 (8.3%) from beyond-the-arc in the opening half and 11-for-29 (37.9%) from the floor as the Warriors went into halftime trailing by 16 points.

Seth Stanley was the lone Warrior to reach double figures in scoring with 10 points and five rebounds in 27 minutes of work.

Michael Calamese combined for 17 points, four rebounds, two assists and a perfect 5-for-5 at the charity stripe; Rouse finished with two of Hendrix's three successful three-point makes on the night.
- Out of Rouse's nine points, six came in the second half when the Little Rock, native went 1-of-1 from deep and 3-of-3 at the charity stripe; also had two rebounds in eight minutes of work in the final frame.

Jacob Link scored the first two points of the game for the road team and tallied seven points on 2-of-3 shooting in 12 minutes of action and 3-for-3 at the free throw line.

Carl Fitch produced a seven-point, three-rebound, two-block performance against the Eagles Thursday night.
- For the game, the Warriors shot 18-of-51 (35.3%) from the floor while also recording 30 points in the paint and 12 points off turnovers while the Patriots logged a 45.3% (24-for-53) mark and an even 5-of-10 (50.0%) from trifectas.
- UT-Tyler registered a 19-for-25 (76.0%) mark at the free throw line while Hendrix bested that; converting 15 makes on 18 attempts (83.3%) Thursday night.
- After giving up 10 turnovers in the first 20 minutes, Hendrix finished the game with 17 turnovers and also logged 26 rebounds.

After getting its first game under its belt on the two-game Texas road trip, the Warriors will battle University of Dallas Sunday at 3 p.m. before nearly two weeks off before a contest against Austin College from Sherman, Texas Dec. 15.
