Central Arkansas Holds Off Warriors in Second Half as Part of Exhibition Opener

CONWAY, Ark. - In what is easily said to be the shortest road trip for the Warriors on the 2018-19 season, Hendrix faced cross-town foe Central Arkansas Thursday night for the 130th time  as part of an exhibition opener to the season. After hanging around with the Bears for most of the first half, a 7-4 run by UCA to end the half allowed the Bears to take a 12-point lead into intermission (46-34). A 7-0 run by the home team allowed for a 20-point UCA lead midway through the second half. The Bears ultimately scored 53 points in the second half to take the exhibition contest, 99-73, in a renewed matchup of the Arkansas Intercollegiate Conference rivalry days.
