Conway, AR - Another non-conference opponent, Southern Virginia, made the trip to Arkansas to take on the Hendrix Warriors men's lacrosse team. Hendrix came into yesterday's action with a 4-4 overall record.

The high-speed Warriors went on the attack early in the first quarter and kept their foot on the gas. Hendrix tallied two goals and ended the first 15 minutes tied up 2-2 with SVU.  The goals for Hendrix came from Dominic Dachille at the 6:13 mark, and Garrett Brown at the 2:08 mark. 

The second quarter saw scoring hit a wall and the Knights outscored the Warriors 5-2 as they gained the lead 7-4.  Hendrix got their third goal from Brown, unassisted.

The third quarter saw the Knights control the ball the majority of the time and they added three more goals to their lead. Danchille tallied his second goal of the game to give him two points on the day.

They game ended with Southern Virginia victorious 16-8. The loss puts Hendrix at 4-5 overall with SAA Conference games beginning this weekend.

The Warriors will return to action with their third of four straight home games next Friday, March 16th against Oglethorpe, the game is set to start at 7:00 pm.
