Conway, AR -Â The Hendrix College men's lacrosse team hosted a SAA Conference match-up Sunday afternoon, taking on the Vikings of Berry. Strong offense from Berry paced the Vikings early and led to a 17-2 loss for the Warriors.
Berry opened the contest hot offensively taking a multi goal lead just minutes into the first quarter. Before the quarter ended the Warriors got one back with a goal from senior
Garrett Brown.
The Vikings defense was stout all afternoon long, holding Hendrix scoreless the rest of the first half and only allowing one goal to the Warriors in the second half.
Brown was a bright spot for the Warriors though, scoring all HC goals to give him 21 on the young season. Freshman
Patrick Adamo made six saves in net and
Max Lynch added an assist on the afternoon as Hendrix fell to 5-6 on the season and 1-1 in SAA play.
Hendrix will be back in action next Saturday for a non-conference match-up against Fontbonne at home. Face off is scheduled for 12:00 pm.
