Mount Berry, GA - The Hendrix College softball team returned to the field today on the second day of their SAA Conference match-up with Berry.
The Warriors lost tough game 14-7.
In the third game of the series with Berry, Hendrix entered the contest with a 9-12 overall, 2-6 SAA record.
Bryanna Carlisle led off the game getting walked and would score the first run of the game on a wild pitch giving HC the 1-0 lead going into the bottom of the first.
The Vikings capitalized on a momentum shift in the bottom half of the first frame, getting three runs across putting BC up 3-1.
The Warriors were knocking on the door the entire game, but could not get the big hit to step into the lead. They scored five more runs in the third inning and one in the sixth inning but that would not be enough as they would ultimately fall 14-7.

Hendrix returns to action Tuesday with a doubleheader. They will face-off with Rhodes College in game one at 5 pm.
