CONWAY, Ark. - After opening up the season with its first six games on the road, Hendrix finally was able to play a match in Conway Saturday with a showdown against Centre looming. The Colonels of Centre struck first with two early goals in the first four minutes and took a 3-1 lead into the intermission en rout to Centre's 8-1 victory Saturday.

OF NOTE
- Junior Nadine Matena knocked in her first goal of the 2018 campaign in the 24th minute Saturday.
- For the entire match, the Colonels recorded 36 shots compared to Hendrix's four.
- Despite landing just four penalty corners, Hendrix recorded 22 saves; all of which came from senior goalie Alexis Truitt. The 22 saves demolished her previous season-best of eight saves against Earlham Sept. 1.
