CONWAY, Ark. – Three Warriors scored 10 or more points Sunday against Birmingham-Southern and freshman forward
Seth Stanley surpassed the 20-point mark for the second time in three days but it was not enough as the Panthers ended on a 6-1 run to defeat Hendrix 81-77 in front of over 500 fans from Grove Gymnasium. Hendrix falls to 6-10 on the season including a 2-3 mark in Southern Athletic Association play while BSC improves to 9-6 and 3-2 in conference action.

TURNING POINT
Freshman guard
Sean Coman nailed a go-ahead three-pointer to put Hendrix up by a point with 2:18 to go but the Panthers nailed a three of its own to take the lead for good.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- After BSC opened the game on a 7-1 run, Hendrix answered with a 7-0 run of its own, capped off by a bucket by Stanley.
- Trailing by six with 10:40 left in the opening half, freshman big man
Carl Fitch nailed two free throws until Stanley scored the next five consecutive points including an old fashioned three-point play to give Hendrix the lead at 21-20 with 8:23 to go until halftime.
- Senior guard
Preston Smith nailed a tough three-pointer with 3:14 left in the half; Hendrix trailed 35-34 at the break.
- After Coman's layup put Hendrix up one 12 seconds into the second half, Stanley recorded eight of the next 10 points for the Warriors as Hendrix held a 46-44 advantage with 13:46 left in regulation.
- Down eight with 5:24 to go, Stanley converted an and-1 play with 5:00 to go, Fitch nailed one free throw and sophomore guard
Kam Brasfield knocked in both free throws as the Warriors trailed by two with 3:59 left.
- Back-to-back layup's by Fitch and Stanley tied the game up at 73-all with 2:56 left.
- Coman nailed a tough three-pointer with 2:18 to go to put the home team up 76-75 but the Panthers ended on a 6-1 run as BSC won 81-77.
- Stanley finished with a game-high 25 points on an efficient 9-for-15 from the field with five rebounds and a 6-for-7 mark at the free throw line.
- Brasfield added 12 points, six assists, six rebounds and shot 6-of-8 at the charity stripe against BSC.
- Smith and Fitch combined for 19 points and six rebounds Sunday against the Panthers.
- Sophomore guard
Trey Rouse added six points off the bench; all of which came in the final 20 minutes of action.
- The Warriors shot 25-of-61 (41.0%) from the floor and ended up shooting 5-of-23 from deep while recording a 22-for-29 (75.9%) mark at the free throw line while BSC shot 28-of-68 from the field, 9-of-23 from deep and 16-for-22 at the free throw line.
- Despite Hendrix outscoring the Panthers 4-0 in transition points, the BSC bench outscored Hendrix's bench 21-15.
- The five blocked shots against the Panthers tied the season-best by Hendrix this year (five vs East Texas Baptist University; Nov. 20, 2018).
