MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Looking to make a late push in the final game of the 2019 regular season, the Warriors traveled to Memphis, Tenn. Sunday for a showdown against rival Rhodes after the match was postponed Saturday due to excessive rainfall. Hendrix recorded eight shots on the day to Rhodes; 18 as the Warriors fell 3-0 Sunday. Hendrix drops to 7-7-5 on the season with a 2-4-1 mark in the Southern Athletic Association while Rhodes improves to 11-5 on the season with a 5-2 mark in conference play. Hendrix will be awarded the no. 6 seed in the conference tournament which begins next Saturday.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Rhodes scored three times in the first 40 minutes to record the 3-0 win over Hendrix.

Hagan Griffith finished with three shots and one shot on goal Sunday while
Mary Helen VanHoy did the exact same.

Kaitlyn Gilkey carded the lone two other shots for the Warriors and also accounted for one shot on goal versus the Lynx.

Avery Jensen played all 90 minutes in goal for Hendrix in her second collegiate start; recording seven saves on the day.

UP NEXT
The Warriors earn the no. 6 seed in the 2019 SAA standings and will travel to Sewanee, Tenn. to battle the no. 3 seeded Sewanee Tigers Saturday at 4:30 p.m.
