CONWAY, Ark. - Hendrix hosted Mississippi University for Women inside the confines of Warrior Field Friday evening as the Warriors looked to get back to its winning ways. After scoring four goals against the Central Baptist Mustangs four weeks ago,
Hagan Griffith scored another four goals Friday night in Hendrix's 6-1 beat down of the Owls. Griffith accounted for two scores in each half while
Kaitlyn Gilkey recorded the third goal of her young career and
Aubrey Wasden scored her second goal of the season. With the win, Hendrix improves to 4-3-5 while MUW drops to an even 6-6. The four goals in a game once again ties the program record for most goals in a single game.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- After 10 minutes of action, Griffith scored her first goal, unassisted, at the 10:04 mark before Gilkey put Hendrix up by two scores after striking for her third goal of the year in the 21st minute.

Brianna Willis picked the first assist of her young career as she found Griffith in the 25th minute as the Warriors led 3-0.
- Hendrix led 3-0 at the half before Griffith recorded her third goal in the 60th minute and fourth goal in the 65th minute off an assist from
Rebecca Biggin.
- After MUW struck for its first goal in the 85th minute,
Aubrey Wasden scored her second goal of the year in the final seconds as Hendrix won, 6-1.
- Hendrix recorded 24 shots in the win (16 on goal) while MUW recorded just five (2).
- Griffith finished with nine shots on the night (seven on goal) while Gilkey carded four (one on goal).

Sydney Wagner and
Sydnee Pritchett added three shots each against the Owls Friday.

Anna Claire Lewis picked up the win; improves to 4-2-3 on the year. Lewis recorded one save in the 67:55 of action to start the game before
Avery Jensen played the next 10:35.
Andrea Stitt played the final 11:30; giving up one score.
- After striking for her 12th, 13th, 14th and 15th goals of the season, Griffith leads the entire Southern Athletic Association in goals scored and is currently tied for third in the entire NCAA Division III; also leads the SAA in points (34).
UP NEXT
Hendrix remains at Warrior Field to take on Millsaps Sunday at 11 a.m. as the resume competition in the Southern Athletic Association. This game will be played as a "pink out" game; a game designed to bring awareness for breast cancer research.
