LOUIS, Mo. - Looking to get off a four-game losing skid, Hendrix traveled to St. Louis, Mo. to take part in the prestigious 19th Annual McWilliams Classic, hosted by Washington University-St. Louis The Warriors ultimately fell to No. 25 Claremont-Mudd-Scripps, 87-50, Friday night. Hendrix trailed by only four midway through the second quarter but the Athenas outscored the Warriors 47-22 in the final 20 minutes. With the loss, Hendrix drops to 2-6 on the season while CMS improves to 6-0

OF NOTE
- Anissa Gutierrez's three-pointer a minute into the game gave Hendrix the early 3-2 lead but an 11-0 Athenas run gave CMS the 13-3 lead almost halfway through the first quarter.
- After Hendrix trailed 22-14 at the end of the first period, Kessie Jenkins scored 10 of her 16 points in the second quarter but the Warriors tailed 40-28 at the break.
- The Athenas scored the first eight points of the second half to take a 48-28 advantage with 7:25 left in the third.
- Cassidy Salyer nailed a trifecta midway through the third quarter to pull within 19 points but CMS held the 66-40 lead with 10 minutes to play.
- Hendrix shot 3-of-11 from the floor in the final period but CMS outscored the Warriors 21-10 in the final stanza as the Athenas recorded the 87-50 win.

- Jenkins shot 6-of-12 from the floor on the night in 27 minutes of work; also pulled down eight rebounds and tallied one block.
- Rachel Woppman added eight points and seven rebounds while shooting 2-of-6 from the floor in 23 minutes of work.
-Gutierrez added seven points and Salyer added six against CMS.
- The Warriors shot 15-of-43 (34.9 percent) from the floor and 5-of-11 (45.5 percent) from deep.
