DANVILLE, Ky. - After both teams won each regular season game inside the confines of their own home during the regular season, Hendrix (10-16) looked to defeat Sewanee (20-6) for the second time this season and advance to the Southern Athletic Association semifinals for the second consecutive year. Unfortunately, the Tigers shot better than 50% from the floor and three-point land as Sewanee took down Hendrix to end the Warriors' season Friday night, 82-64. Freshman forward
Seth Stanley nailed a career-best six three-pointers to go along with a team-high 20 points Friday night in the final game of the 2018-19 season.

TURNING POINT
Hendrix pulled within nine points with 8:40 left in regulation but an 8-0 Tigers run in the next 90 seconds put Sewanee up 17 with 7:02 to go.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Sewanee grabbed the early 2-0 lead and then both teams managed to miss its next five combined shots before Stanley struck for one of his six three-pointers and senior guard
Preston Smith scored in transition on the next possession to put Hendrix up 5-2.
- The Tigers manufactures a quick 8-0 run to take a five-point advantage with under 13 minutes until halftime.
- A 19-6 run near the end of the opening half put the Tigers up 16 with 4:24 to go; Sewanee led 34-21 at the break.
- Stanley started the second half exactly like he did in the first half after connecting on another trifecta on the opening possession
- Hendrix trailed by 10 with 16:05 to go after freshman forward
Carl Fitch nailed a pair of free throws. Sewanee connected on a three-pointer before both teams exchanged field goal makes on the next seven possessions.
- Sophomore guard
Trey Rouse recorded the next six points in a span of 35 seconds including a four-point play as the Warriors trailed by seven with 9:28 to go.
- Sewanee netted off another 8-0 run and a 5-0 run to hold a 19-point edge with 5:20 to go.
- A pair of free throw makes by freshman guard
Sean Coman and another set of three-point makes by Stanley and Smith brought Hendrix within 10 points with 1:53 to go but time would run out as Sewanee defeated Hendrix in the SAA Championships for the second time in three years, 82-64.
OF NOTE
- In addition to eclipsing the 20-point plateau for the sixth time this year, Stanley collected a team-best seven rebounds against Sewanee.
- Smith finishes his collegiate career as Hendrix's second all-time three-point maker after hitting four more three-pointers Friday night in Danville, Ky.
- Junior guard
Jacob Link added eight points and three assists in his final game before his senior season while Rouse tallied six points off the bench.
- Freshman forward Alex Contrad accounted for five points off the bench on 2-of-4 shooting.
- The Warriors shot 19-of-56 from the floor, 12-for-33 from deep and 14-of-17 from the charity stripe while Sewanee shot 29-for-56 from the field, 13-of-24 from downtown and 11-of-13 from the free throw line.
- The 12 made three-pointers by Hendrix was one short of the season-high (13 vs Rhodes).
- The 13 made three's by Sewanee tied the season-high for an opponent to record three-point makes against Hendrix this year.
- The Warriors tallied 12 assists on its 19 field goal makes.
