ST. LOUIS, Mo. - Looking to get back to its winning ways, Hendrix took on Fontbonne from St. Louis Saturday afternoon and did indeed get back to its winning ways after a 26-7 victory over the Griffins to improve to 3-2 on the young season. Spencer Dorfneilsen tallied a game-high seven goals on the day, Elias Ramos won 15 of the 18 faceoffs for Hendrix while Taylor Noack picked up another victory on the season after logging six saves in 30 minutes of work.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Hendrix took an early 4-0 lead after the first quarter afters goals from Alec Davis, Drew Scanlan, Dorfneilsen and Sean Howard.
- Dorfnelisen tacked on two more goals in the first seven minutes of the second half, Howard scored again as Hendrix started the game on a 9-0 run and 10-4 at the break.
- After Fontbone scored the first goal of the second half, Scanlan and Howard quickly struck for Hendrix as the Warriors held a 12-5 cushion with 8:55 left in the third period.
- Hendrix ended the third period on a 6-0 run, half of those goals coming from Dorfneilsen. The Warriors led 8-6 with 15 minutes left to play.
- Dorfnelisen tallied his seventh goal of the game 90 seconds into the fourth period.
- Cole Cramer accounted for a pair of scores in the final 12 minutes as Hendrix ended the game on a 7-0 run en rout to a 26-7 stomping of Fontbonne.
OF NOTE:
- Dorfnelisen finished with seven goals on 10 shots Saturday.
- Cramer recorded two goals and three assists for a second-most five points against Fontbonne.
- Ramos, Howard and Kip VanHoose accounted for six ground balls apiece while VanHoose added a goal and an assist Saturday too.
- Howard tallied three goals on the day; also recorded a team-high two caused turnovers against the Griffins with seven face off victories.
- Patrick Adamo carded two saves in 22:33 of action at the net while Garrison Winter recorded one save in over seven minutes of work.
- The Warriors outshoot the Griffins 70-31 Saturday while also collecting 47 total ground balls compared to Fontbonne's 19.
WHO'S NEXT:
The Warriors return back to Conway with a March 8 contest looming against Johnson & Whales University (Co.) that is set to begin at 7 p.m. from Young-Wise Memorial Stadium.
