FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. - In its second road game in three days, Hendrix faced Methodist (N.C.) in a non-conference tilt from Fayetteville, N.C. Thursday afternoon. After controlling most of the opening half, the Warriors accounted for three goals in the final 30 minutes of action as the Monarchs took the 14-10 victory over Hendrix. With the loss, Hendrix drops to 4-5 on the year while Methodist (N.C.) improves to 6-4.
Cole Cramer and
Jack Gorman tallied hat tricks in the four-goal setback while the Warriors drop below .500 for the first time this year.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- After the Monarchs took the 1-0 lead early, Cramer and Gorman recorded a goal in the next three minutes as Hendrix took a 2-1 lead with under 10 minutes left in the opening frame.
- Methodist (N.C.) struck for a man-up goal next before Cramer scored for the second time today, a man-up goal in itself, as Hendrix led 3-2 with 7:05 left in the first period.
- After
Max Lynch scored two straight goals and a score by Gorman again, the Warriors enjoyed a 6-4 lead with 5:56 until halftime.
- The Monarchs recorded three straight goals and scored again with 20 seconds in the half to take an 8-7 lead at the break.

Sean Howard tallied a goal five minutes into the third period and Cramer logged his third goal near the end of the third as the Warriors trailed 11-9 with 15 minutes left.

Drew Scanlan accounted for the only score in the fourth period as Hendrix fell 14-10 Thursday afternoon.
OF NOTE:
- Cramer and Gorman finished with a team-high three goals in the non-conference loss while Gorman carved up an assist too.

Dominic Dachille recorded a team-best 12 ground balls and team-high five caused turnovers against the Monarchs.

Elias Ramos registered four ground balls while also winning eight face-offs.
- Howard scored once and picked up a pair of ground balls while also winning three face-offs.

Taylor Noack recorded a pair of saves in the opening 30 minutes of play before
Patrick Adamo played the final 30 minutes and accounted for four saves.
- Hendrix (34) recorded one less shot than Methodist (35) while also committing six more turnovers than the Monarchs (31 to 25) in the four-goal loss.

The Warriors remain on the road for its third straight contest. Up next, Hendrix travels to Rome, Ga. to resume Southern Athletic Association play with a showdown against Berry.
