Warriors Fall at Berry Friday Night

ROME, Ga. - Hendrix hit the road for its first conference contest of the 2019 season Friday night. The Warriors traveled east to take on Berry in a meaningful game from Rome, Ga. but, unfortunately for Hendrix, the Warriors could not score a goal in the opening 30 minutes of action and fell 15-4 to the Vikings. With the loss, Hendrix falls to 4-6 on the season and 0-2 in Southern Athletic Association play while the Vikings maintain a 4-6 mark as well with a 1-1 record in conference action. Four different Warriors scored a goal Friday night.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- After not scoring in the entire first half, Berry took a 10-0 lead into the locker room at halftime.
- Trailing 12-0, Drew Scanlan recorded Hendrix's first goal with 6:07 left in the third period.
- Cullen Robinette carded a man-up score after Scanlan's goal to bring Hendrix within 10, 12-2, with 5:16 to go in the third.
- Hendrix outscored Berry 2-1 in the fourth as Jack Gorman and Cole Cramer scored but it was not enough as Hendrix fell 15-4.

OF NOTE:
- While Scanlan, Robinette, Gorman and Cramer accounted for the lone four scored for Hendrix, no assists were recorded.
- On the night, Hendrix tallied 21 shots as a unit while Berry had 55.
- Scanlan, Kip VanHoose and Dominic Dachille all registered a team-high three ground balls in the 11-goal loss.
- Jackson Schneider tallied the two caused turnovers for Hendrix Friday.
- Taylor Noack accounted for nine saves in the first 30 minutes of action while Patrick Adamo logged five in the final 30 minutes.
- The four goals scored Friday night is a season-low.

WHO'S NEXT:
The Warriors will look to end its four-game skid with a conference showdown against Oglethorpe from Atlanta, Ga. Sunday at 11 a.m. CT.
