ATLANTA, Ga. - Looking to get off its season-long four-game losing skid, Hendrix traveled to Atlanta, Ga. Sunday afternoon for a meaningful Southern Athletic Association contest against Oglethorpe. The Warriors held the Petrels scoreless for the first half as Hendrix enjoyed a 5-0 lead at the break. The Warriors went on to win 14-5 to improve to 5-6 on the season and obtain its first SAA victory of the season following Sunday's contest. Oglethorpe drops to 4-7 on the season with an 0-3 mark in SAA play. In the win,
Sean Howard and
Drew Scanlan produced a game-high three goals each while
Taylor Noack picked up the win in the goal for Hendrix and carved up eight saves on the day.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Three first quarter scores by
Sean Howard,
Patrick Dellinger and
Cullen Robinette allowed to lead 3-0 after one period of action.
- Howard and Scanlan started the second frame with scores in the first 11 minutes of the second period as Hendrix led 5-0 with four minutes until the half.
- Oglethorpe accounted for back-to-back scores in the third fame but Scanlan, Spencer Dorfnelisen and
Alec Davis accounted for the final five scores for Hendrix in the final 11 minutes as Hendrix won 14-5.
OF NOTE:
- Scanlan and Howard accounted for three goals apiece in the 11-goal victory while Dorfnelise and
Alec Davis added two each.

Patrick Dellinger recorded a team-best nine ground balls while Dominic Dachillle produced six in the win and also won six face-offs Sunday.
- In the win, Scanlan tallied four points; surpassing the 100-point mark in his four-year tenure as a Warrior.
- Dellinger tallied a team-high five caused turnovers while Scanlan logged three.
- With Dorfneilsen's performance Sunday, the freshman is now third in the SAA in goals scored with 29 this season.
- The Warriors recorded a 17-for-17 mark on clear attempts.
