DANVILLE, Ky. - Following an overtime victory over Oglethorpe a week ago to open up the conference portion of the season, Hendrix looked to improve to 2-0 in the SAA with a pivotal showdown against Centre Saturday morning. Unfortunately, the Colonels outscored Hendrix 15-2 in the opening 30 minutes of action as the Centre defeated the Warriors, 20-3. Alison Watanabe accounted for all three goals for the Warriors.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- After trailing 3-0, Morgan Dasch found Watanabe with 27:31 left in the opening period for the first score of the day for Hendrix.
- Centre maintained another 3-0 run before Dasch found Watanabe again with just over 20 minutes until halftime; Colonels led 6-2.
- The Colonels recorded the final nine goals of the first half before Watanabe recorded her hat trick with 16:35 left to make it a 16-3 score.
- Centre scored the final four goals for the 20-3 victory.

OF NOTE:
- In six games this season, Watanabe recorded at least three goals in a game for the third time this year.
- Dasch registered the two lone assists on the day for Hendrix.
- Sophie Mazzaro scooped up a team-best three ground balls against Centre while also causing three turnovers.
- Mazzaro and Dasch also recorded two draw controls apiece.
- Alexis Truitt recorded nine saves against the Colonels in all 60 minutes of action in goal for the Warriors.
