ATLANTA, Ga. - After sweeping Saturday's doubleheader against Oglethorpe and winning its sixth Southern Athletic Association series in as many tries, Hendrix eyed its second SAA series sweep of the season Sunday. Unfortunately, Oglethorpe hit a walk-off home run in the bottom of the ninth inning as the Petrels took the final game, 11-10 in Atlanta, Ga. With the loss, Hendrix falls to 26-11 on the season with a 13-5 mark in SAA action while Oglethorpe improves to 10-26 and a 6-12 mark in SAA play.

NOTABLE:
GAME 1
- Trailing by a pair of runs, a two-RBI single by Tucker scored Gilliam and Stoyanow as Hendrix tied the game up quickly.
- A single by Jo. Leon on batter later allowed for Hendrix to obtain the lead, 3-2, in the second frame.
- After scoring two runs in the third inning and one in the fifth, the Warriors trailed 8-6 after six innings.
- Hendrix's first four batters of the seventh inning reached base as the Warriors quickly tied the game up at 8-8.
- The Petrels scored two more runs in the seventh before Hendrix tied it with two in the eighth but a walk-off home run in the ninth allowed for Oglethorpe to steal the 11-10 home victory.
- After batting 4-for-5 in the first game Saturday, Ju. Leon batted 4-for-5 again with a pair of runs and a pair of RBIs.
- Tucker collected two RBIs as well after batting 1-for-3 with a run scored.
