CONWAY, Ark. - In its final home game of the 2019 season, Hendrix outshot Centre 36-31 Sunday but fell to the Colonels 9-0. Despite losing by nine, Hendrix also recorded 31 ground balls while the Colonels only tallied 20. With the loss, Hendrix drops to 5-9 on the season and 1-5 in Southern Athletic Association play while Centre improves to 10-4 on the year and a 4-2 mark in conference play. The Warriors will be the No. 5 seed in the upcoming SAA Men's Lacrosse Championships.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- After allowing four goals in the opening 15 minutes of action, the Warriors allowed two more goals in the second frame to trail 6-0 at the half.
- Centre tacked on its seventh goal of the game in the third period and eighth and ninth scores in the final quarter for the 9-0 victory.

Drew Scanlan tallied a team-high 10 shots on the day while picking up three ground balls and causing two turnovers.

Patrick Dellinger scooped up a team-best six ground balls against the Colonels.

Ty Oliver added four ground balls against Centre while
Samuel Martin also recorded three caused turnovers.

Elias Ramos won five face-offs for Hendrix Sunday in Hendrix's final home game of the season.

Taylor Noack carded 11 goals on the day in goal for the Warriors.
WHO'S NEXT:
The Warriors will gear up for the 2019 SAA Men's Lacrosse Championships and will serve as the No. 6 seed. Hendrix will take on Berry Apr. 20 from Rome, Ga.
