MEMPHIS, Tenn. - In a rematch of a game that took place less than a week ago, No. 5 Hendrix faced No. 4 Birmingham-Southern College Friday afternoon in a classic Southern Athletic Association quarterfinal tilt from Memphis, Tenn. The Warriors ended up outscoring the Panthers 10-6 in the final 30 minutes of action as Hendrix registered the 16-11 defeat of the Panthers. With the win, not only did Hendrix defeat BSC for the very first time in program history but the Warriors also secured its first-ever SAA tournament victory following the four-goal win. Morgan Dasch and Alison Watanabe recorded five scored on the day each while also combining for nine assists against the Panthers. Hendrix will face No. 1 Rhodes Saturday at noon from Memphis, Tenn. in the SAA semifinals.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- After two scores by Watanabe and one from Hannah Burroughs, BSC tallied a 3-0 lead to take a 5-3 lead with just over seven minutes until halftime.
- Trailing 5-3, Hendrix accounted for the next seven scores; four of which came from Dasch. Hendrix led 10-5 with 19:10 left in regulation.
- After a BSC score, Watanabe carded two more goals before Calah Justice tallied her second of the day while Hendrix led 13-6 with 10 minutes left.
- Justice and Dasch managed to log the final two scores for Hendrix as the Warriors upset the Panthers, 16-11 Friday in Memphis, Tenn.
OF NOTE:
- Dasch surpassed the five-goal mark for the eighth time this season; also added five assists against the Lynx (third-highest total this season).
- Watanabe finished with five goals as well; the fourth consecutive game that the sophomore has accounted for at least four goals in a game.
- Justice and Burroughs accounted for five scores and an assist between the two while Erin Rossics carded a team-high six ground balls in the win.
- Dasch collected two ground balls while registering eight draw controls and finished 1-for-1 on free position shots.
- Alexis Truitt tallied five ground balls in the victory while also accounting for 13 saves in the five-goal victory.
- JJ Tufu recorded a team-best two caused turnovers in the win.
