CONWAY, Ark. - After falling 5-1 in the Southern Athletic Association Baseball Championships opener on Friday, Hendrix battled No. 5 seed Centre in an elimination game from Warrior Field. Centre took the lead in the third and seventh innings but Hendrix accounted for a run in the eighth frame to tie it before
Tanner Cooper accounted for his first walk-off hit of the year in the bottom of the ninth frame to score
Seth Tucker from second base; Warriors defeated Centre 4-3 before battling Millsaps just a few minutes later. The Warriors struck for four runs in the first two innings as Hendrix ended the Majors' season after the 14-4 victory in eight innings Saturday night.
Andrei Stoyanow picked up the win against the Colonels after tossing the final inning while
Taylor Barker picked up the victory versus the Majors after replacing
Hayden Seay following Seay's second start of the year. The Warriors improve to 30-13 on the season after Saturday's games.

Hendrix battles Rhodes tomorrow at 12 p.m.. in an elimination game for the Warriors. If the Warriors should win that game, a second game would be played with the winner of that game advancing to the 2019 SAA Baseball Championship Series for a pivotal three-game set next weekend against the winning team of the Birmingham-Southern College pod.
