SHREVEPORT, La. - After pulling off a thrilling 5-2 win over Louisiana College Saturday, Hendrix hit the road to Shreveport, La. for a non-conference matchup against the Centenary Gents. The Gents took the quick 1-0 lead less than three minutes into the game; part of four goals scored from the home team in the opening half Tuesday night. Centenary (La.) tacked on three more goals in the second half to defeat Hendrix, 7-0. The Warriors fall to 2-7 after the loss while the Gents improve to 2-2.

"We simply were not ready to play tonight and I accept full responsibility," said head man
Matt Kern. "Centenary was committed, dynamic going forward and organized. We we will look to make improvements for our opening SAA match on Saturday versus Birmingham Southern."
