JACKSON, Miss. - Looking to continue to stay atop the standings in the Southern Atheltic Association, Hendrix hit the road to Jackson, Miss. for a huge conference meeting against the Millsaps Majors Saturday afternoon. After Hendrix carded a 25-23 set one victory, the Warriors destroyed Millsaps in the second set, 25-8, and came-from-behind in set three, 25-20 to sweep the Majors and to record its sixth-straight sweep and eighth total sweep of the year. With the straight-set win, Hendrix improves to 10-2 on the year with a perfect 4-0 mark in SAA play while Millsaps now holds a 10-7 mark with a 1-3 in conference. In the win,
Lauren Dwyer recorded her third-straight double-double after accounting for a game-high 18 digs and 11 kills while Hendrix also gave Millsaps its first home loss of the year.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- After winning six of the first seven points, Millsaps recorded a pair of 2-0 runs and a 3-0 run midway through the opening set to tie the game up at 14.
- Following a 3-0 Hendrix run,
Sadie Walker's kill gave Hendrix the slim 23-22 lead before Dwyer recorded a kill and Millsaps recorded an error as Hendrix held on in the first set, 25-23.
- Leading 5-3 in the second set, Hendrix scored seven-straight points to take a commanding 12-3 lead after a kill by
Kiersten Huitt.
- The Warriors carved up a 4-0 run before winning the final six points to take the set 25-8;
Molly Kingston recorded back-to-back service aces to start the 6-0 run.
- Millsaps jumped out to an 11-5 advantage after a 5-0 run but a pair of 2-0 runs and an 8-0 run gave Hendrix the 17-13 advantage in set three.
- Leading 22-17, Huitt and
Maddie Tovar registered back-to-back kills to set up match point.
- After a 3-0 Major run, a set error by Millsaps sealed Hendrix's sixth-straight sweep of the season.
- Walker hit a team-best .455 on the day with 10 kills while
Jeanette McGrath recorded 12 digs in the win.

Sesalie Satterwhite totaled 18 assists Saturday; the fourth-straight game the senior has recorded double-digit assist numbers.
- Hendrix currently sits in first place in the SAA; but battles no. 2 BSC Sunday from Birmingham, Ala.
