CONWAY, Ark. - Looking to get back to its winning ways, Hendrix hosted No. 8 Washington-St. Louis in a doubleheader Saturday; part of a three-game series that concludes Sunday. The Warriors fell 10-0 in the first game before dropping a 7-2 decision to Washington-St. Louis in game two. In the nightcap, D3baseball.com Preseason All-American pitcher Jack Hodgins tossed over eight innings of action but Wash. U scored four runs in the ninth inning to card the 7-2 win over Hendrix. The Warriors fall to 3-6 on the season while the Bears improve to 2-0.

- Hendrix strung together a pair of hits over the final three innings. Ford Sherrington laced a triple to left center field in the eighth with one out, trailing by a run, but was left stranded at third.
