FLORENCE, Ala. - For the first time ever, Hendrix beach volleyball embarked on the road for a pair of regular season contests. The newly added program traveled to Florence, Ala. to take on NCAA Division I Central Arkansas and NCAA Division II Lincoln Memorial in the 2020 Shoals Beach Bash, hosted by North Alabama. The Warriors fell to UCA, 5-0, while also falling to LMU, 5-0, in a historic day for the program. Most notably, the team of MaKenzie Presley and Charlotte Alexander won 13 points in the No. 1 doubles spot against LMU while the team of Meghan Fuller-Freeman and Molly Kingston won 12 points in the opening set at the No. 3 doubles spot against LMU as well. Hendrix holds an 0-2 mark on the young season.
