JACKSON, Miss. - Hendrix hit the road to Jackson, Miss. to take on the Millsaps Majors in the next-to-last game of the regular season. After falling to the Majors last month by eight points, 62-54, in Conway, Hendrix struggled shooting from the floor Sunday; shooting 22.8 percent from the floor as Millsaps carved up the 59-33 win over the Warriors. With the loss, Hendrix falls to 2-22 and 0-13 in Southern Athletic Association games while Millsaps improves to 11-13 and 5-8 in conference games.
Anissa Gutierrez led the way with a team-high 11 points on 4-of-14 shooting in 33 minutes of work.

- After burning an early timeout,
Kessie Jenkins scored Hendrix's first basket of the day as the Warriors trailed 10-2 just passed the midway point of the first quarter.
- After three straight misses from the Majors,
Caroline Wendt soon scored next to bring Hendrix within six points, 10-4, but Millsaps held the 18-8 advantage after one period of play.
- Millsaps scored the first five points of the second period but Hendrix, after scoring its first basket six minutes into the session, scored the final eight points of the period as Millsaps led 23-16 at the half.
- A 5-0 Warrior run ot start the third period made it a two-point game, 23-21, after a three-pointer from
Cassidy Salyer but a huge 13-0 Major run gave the home team the 38-23 lead halfway through the third period.
- After leading by six points through three periods, the Majors outscored 13-3 in the final frame as Millsaps logged the 59-33 win over the Warriors.

- Jenkins finished with six points, four rebounds and a steal in 27 minutes of work while Salyer recorded five points, three rebounds and an assist in 30 minutes.

Ali Isbell pulled down nine rebounds and recorded two assists in 34 minutes while Wendt registered a career-high 10 rebounds and scored six points in 19 minutes of action off the bench..

Belle Neilson totaled three rebounds, two assists, one steal and one point in 14 minutes of work off the bench.
- Hendrix shot 22.8 percent (13-of-57) from the floor, 2-for-23 (8.7 percent) from deep and 5-of-10 (50 percent) from the free throw line against the Majors Sunday.

The Warriors head to Memphis, Tenn. Saturday at 1 p.m. to take on the Rhodes Lynx in the final game of the 2019-20 regular season.
