Christian Gadison tied a career-high with seven catches for 76 yards for Hendrix. Chris Childress caught five balls for 52 yards and a touchdown. Colton Phillips tied a season-high with seven grabs for 42 yards.

Childress' 10th receiving touchdown this season Saturday moved him into a tie for second with Nate Hodapp (2016) on the program's single-season list and leaves him six shy of breaking Hodapp's 2017 mark of 15.

Childress moved into a tie for seventh on the school's single-season list for touchdowns scored.

Childress recorded his 11th-career receiving touchdown, which moved him into a tie with Casey Caton (2013-14) for fifth on the program's all-time list. He is four shy of moving past Blake Hinton (2017-20) for fourth and five away from passing Ethan Hoope (2013-16).

Childress is responsible for 11 touchdowns in his career, tying Caton for 10th all-time. He needs three to pass Tanner Frye (2013) for ninth, four to pass Hinton for eighth and five to pass Hoppe for seventh.

Childress has scored 11 touchdowns in his career, which ties Caton for ninth in program history. He needs four to pass Hinton for eighth and five to pass Hoppe, Seth Peters (2013-16) and Miles Thompson (2016-20) for fifth.

In addition to Scirto, Dalton Lindelof, Alek Taylor and Timothy Curran each deflected a pass.

Hendrix's eight pass breakups tied for fifth most in a game in program history.

Rhodes scored its lone touchdown in regulation on its first offensive series of the game, as Moskosky reached the endzone on a two-yard run at the 11:42 mark of the first quarter.

A Barrett sack of Macias on 4th and 3 from the Hendrix 36 ended the Lynx' third series of the game and set up the Warriors' first touchdown drive. Holden connected with Childress on a 25-yard scoring toss, capping a six-play, 56-yard drive which lasted 2:29.

Barnes made an interception and returned it 21 yards to the Hendrix 23 less than two minutes into the fourth quarter, but McShan intercepted Macias five plays later in the endzone to halt a Rhodes scoring threat.

Hendrix was forced to punt on its next offensive series, but Aaron Cooper muffed the return, which was recovered by Parsons on the Rhodes 49.

The Warriors drove 40 yards in 11 plays, eating 7:07 off the clock before Bennett Ellis made a 36-yard field goal to put his team ahead 10-7 with 1:39 left in regulation.

The Lynx answered with an 11-play drive of their own, covering 54 yards, which ended with a Wiley Henshaw 28-yard field goal as time expired in regulation.

A Henshaw 19-yard field goal attempt on the first offensive series of the first overtime was blocked by Scirto and recovered by McShan, but Hendrix's 22-yard field goal attempt to win the game was also blocked.

Ellis converted a 25-yard field goal at the beginning of the second overtime to put his team on top 13-10, but on 2nd and 10, the fourth play of Rhodes' drive, Moskosky took a handoff and scored from 15 yards out to end the game.

Hendrix welcomes Berry (Ga.) to Young-Wise Memorial Stadium for the first time since 2018 on Oct. 23 in a rematch of the 2020-21 SAA Championship Game. Kickoff for the Warriors' final home game this season is set for 1 p.m. CT.
