ABOUT HENDRIX
The Warriors won at Birmingham-Southern (Ala.) in four sets by scores of 25-12, 24-26, 25-21 and 25-22 on Saturday in SAA action. The Warriors improved to 8-3 in the series inside Bill Battle Coliseum, having won seven of their last eight in the venue. Loren Payne delivered 12 kills and a 0.375 hitting percentage in the win. Sadie Walker added 11 kills. Camryn Presley pumped in nine kills and as many digs. Peyton Nance chipped in a career-high 19 digs. Claire Smith had 21 assists and eight digs, while Kyler Greenlee recorded 16 assists and nine digs. Grace House had five of the 12 block assists totaled by Hendrix.
The Warriors are currently in fourth place in the league standings.
Hendrix leads the SAA in aces per set (1.91) and ranks second in attacks per set (37.47) and digs per set (17.03). The Warriors are 54th nationally in attacks per set and 87th in digs per set.

The Majors won at home over Rhodes (Tenn.) in four sets by scores of 25-21, 23-25, 25-20 and 25-20 in league action Saturday. Brenna Macaluso and Bre Reed combined for 18 kills and nine blocks. Alyssa Jolly had eight kills, four blocks and a career-high 22 digs. Chayton Willis posted career-highs of eight kills and six digs. Margaret Richardson totaled 30 assists and eight digs.
The Majors are currently in sixth place in the league standings.
Anna Capezzera leads the SAA and ranks 68th nationally in service aces (43). Jolly is second in the league in attacks per set (9.74) and kills per set (3.14).Â
