DANVILLE, Ky. - No. 3-seed Centre (Ky.) defeated No. 6-seed Hendrix, 2-1, on Saturday in the Southern Athletic Association Tournament quarterfinals at Amend Field.

Centre (8-5-3) scored goals in the 58th and 60th minutes.

Will Kelton scored a penalty kick goal for Hendrix (4-8-3) in the 81st minute.

Kelton and Kristian Reed each had two shots on goal.

James Leone (3-7-2) made two saves for the Warriors.

Hendrix held an edge in corner kicks, 6-2.
