SEWANEE, Tenn. - No. 4-seed Sewanee (Tenn.) defeated No. 5-seed Hendrix, 2-1, on Saturday in the Southern Athletic Association Tournament quarterfinals at Puett Field.

Bri Willis scored in the 12th minute to give Hendrix (8-7-1) a 1-0 lead, but Sewanee (11-4-2) answered with goals in the 21st and 45th minutes.

Willis had three shots, while Sydnee Pritchett had two.

Anna Claire Lewis (6-5-1) tallied a career-high eight saves for the Warriors.
