MOUNT BERRY, Ga. - Christin Marijanich (1) scored Friday's only goal 29 seconds before halftime, lifting Berry (Ga.) to a 1-0 win over Hendrix in Southern Athletic Association (SAA) action at Pearson Field.

"The ladies played really hard tonight," Warriors head coach Jeff Trimble said. "A lot of credit goes to my assistant Symone Bennett; she saw some things in the first half, and we made some adjustments as a staff in the second. We had to try to counter attack in the second half, and a lot of credit goes to Berry; their work rate and skill caused us problems."

A Sydnee Pritchett shot attempt in the 76th minute hit the crossbar, and Hendrix (2-2, 1-2 SAA) was unable to find the equalizer down the stretch.

Kirbi Mathews totaled three shots on goal for the Vikings.

Maggie Jones (2-1) played the first 85:31 between the pipes for Berry (2-2, 1-1 SAA) before giving way to Emily Lafferty for the final 4:29.

Anna Claire Lewis (2-2) recorded three saves in 90 minutes in net for the Warriors.

Hendrix travels to Oglethorpe (Ga.) on March 28. Kickoff is set for 10 a.m. CT.
