MOUNT BERRY, Ga. - No. 13/RV Berry (Ga.) took the final two games against UR/No. 25 Hendrix on Sunday in Southern Athletic Association (SAA) action at William R. Bowdoin Field. The Vikings won the first game 5-1 and the second 17-6 in 10 innings.

In game one, Nick Brunswick and Spence Johns each totaled two hits and two runs scored for Berry.

Charles Stephenson (2-1) pitched a complete game for the win, allowing one earned run on four hits with two strikeouts.

R.J. Carver had two hits and a run scored for Hendrix.

Teddy Olander (1-2) went the distance on the mound in the loss, giving up five runs, four earned, on seven hits with two strikeouts and two walks.

In game two, Zach Huie and Dalton Smith recorded two hits apiece for Berry (24-4, 14-2 SAA).

Mason Carnes (2-0) earned the win with three innings of two-hit, scoreless relief with two strikeouts and three walks.

Drake Herrera, Rail Gilliam, Tom Flisk, Zach Marriott and J.P. Medick each had two hits for Hendrix (6-15, 3-9 SAA). Marriott and Medick each drove in two. Flisk and Marriott each scored twice.

Jacob Wagner (0-1) suffered the loss on the mound, surrendering one earned run on two hits with a strikeout and two walks in an inning and a third.

Hendrix returns to Warrior Baseball Field April 2-3 when the Warriors host UR/RV Rhodes (Tenn.) in a four-game series. First pitch Friday is set for 1 p.m. CT.
