DANVILLE, Ky. - Hendrix lost to Centre (Ky.), 8-1, on Friday in Southern Athletic Association (SAA) action at Centre Tennis Courts.

In No. 6 singles, Joseph Donaldson of Hendrix (0-11, 0-5 SAA) swept Brian Graves of Centre (3-6, 3-1 SAA) 6-3 and 6-4.

In No. 4 singles, Will Thames won the first set 6-4 before losing 7-5 in the second and 10-6 in the third-set tiebreaker.

The Colonels swept four singles matches.
