CONWAY, Ark. - The Warriors swept Division II Southern Arkansas to open play in the Hendrix Invitational on Friday inside Grove Gymnasium. The Orange and Black won by scores of 25-16, 25-15 and 25-22.

Hendrix's (2-3) Brittany Newberry is two wins shy of 50 for her career.

Camryn Presley tallied a double-double with 10 kills and 14 digs in the win. Madi Corey tallied six kills and a 0.462 hitting percentage. Sam Friedl had 17 digs. Claire Smith dished out 14 assists and Kyler Greenlee 11.

Presley and Smith each had three service aces, as the Warriors totaled 10.

Landry Rogers had 10 kills for Southern Arkansas (1-4). Bailey Kirk had 13 digs. Morgan Schuster dished out 23 assists.

On Saturday, the Warriors battle Saint Thomas (Texas), which is receiving votes for the Top 25, and Dallas (Texas) at 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., respectively.
