CLARKSVILLE, Ark. - Hendrix improved to 3-0 all-time against Austin (Texas) following a 5-2 win Sunday at Hurie Soccer Field in the final game of the Ozarks (Ark.) Tournament. The Warriors have outscored the 'Roos 11-4 in three matchups.

Mary Helen VanHoy (1) opened the scoring for Hendrix (1-1-1) in the 29th minute with an assist from Kaitlyn Gilkey.

After Giselle Melendez-Val (1) tied the match in the 35th minute, Sydnee Pritchett (1) put the Warriors back in front off a feed from Zoey Montgomery, and the Orange and Black led 2-1 at halftime.

Pritchett's (2) second goal of the afternoon came in the 50th minute with aid from VanHoy. Sydney Wagner (1) made the score 4-1 in the 60th minute. Skylar Baker (1) found the back of the net off Gilkey's second assist in the 70th minute.

Sarah Carmichael (1) scored in the 80th minute for Austin (1-3) for the final tally.

VanHoy ended with three shots, as Hendrix totaled 13. 

Anna Claire Lewis (1-1-1) made two saves in 69 minutes between the pipes before giving way to Mackenzie Smith, who made one save in the final 22 minutes.

Meredith Harris (1-3) made five saves in the first half in net in the loss. Heaven Barber made two saves in 20 minutes and Kenedie Lane one save in 25 minutes.

The Warriors held an edge in corner kicks, 6-0.

Hendrix hosts Ozarks on Wednesday at Warrior Soccer Field at 6 p.m. CT.
