BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Birmingham-Southern (Ala.) defeated Hendrix, 68-65, on Friday in Southern Athletic Association (SAA) action inside Bill Battle Coliseum.
Christian Stewart tallied a double-double with 21 points and 15 rebounds for the Panthers. He shot 8-of-12 inside the arc and 5-of-9 from the free throw line. Cameron Glover scored 20 points on 8-of-15 shooting, including a 3-of-6 effort from beyond the arc. Luke Touliatos added 15 points.
Birmingham-Southern (7-7, 2-1 SAA) shot 42.6 percent (26-of-61) overall, 25 percent (6-of-24) from 3 and 62.5 percent (10-of-16) from the foul line.
Darvis Rasberry Jr. came away with a season-high 14 points for the Warriors.

Carl Fitch each grabbed seven rebounds, while Stanley had six.
Hendrix (9-6, 2-2 SAA) shot 39.4 percent (26-of-66) overall and 44.4 percent (8-of-18) from behind the arc. The Warriors totaled 15 assists on 26 made field goals and outrebounded the Panthers 42-36, including 10-6 on the offensive glass. The Orange and Black held edges in bench points (21-20) and second chance points (8-5).
