BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Hendrix lost to Birmingham-Southern (BSC), 30-7, on Saturday in Southern Athletic Association (SAA) play at General Krulak Stadium in Birmingham.

Jacob Wood finished 14-29 with a rushing score.

Auvic White ran 46 yards on 10 carries with 17 yards receiving, and Quentin Tolbert averaged 5.6 yards per rush.

Mitchell Johnson recorded 9 total tackles, while Connor Samples, Jacob Bremmon, and Nate Hahn each recorded 7 total tackles. 6 of Bremmon's tackles were solo efforts.

The Warriors held Birmingham-Southern to 178 yards in the air, but gave up 281 yards on the ground against a dominant BSC rushing attack.

The loss drops Hendrix to 2-6 (1-4). The Warriors will be back in action on Saturday versus the Rhodes Lynx. The game will be played at War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock, Ark.
