WBB Preview | Warriors Back on the Road for Rematch with Dallas on Tuesday

Warriors and Crusaders conclude home-and-home series in Irving

Conway, Ark. - Hendrix heads back on the road after a 17-day sabbatical, traveling to Irving, Texas for the return leg of their non-conference home-and-home series with the Dallas Crusaders on Tuesday, December 20. Opening tip is set for 1:00 p.m. CT at the Maher Center.

GAME STORYLINES

- The Warriors are 9-3 versus Crusaders since the two sides first met up in 2014, but have lost three of the last five matchups. Hendrix is 4-2 when playing Dallas at the Maher Center.

- Hendrix will be without former leading-scorer Kennedi Burns after she suffered a season-ending injury on November 27 during the Warriors' first matchup with the Crusaders.

Last Three Games: L at Colorado College (108-59), L at Southwestern (52-50), W vs Texas Lutheran (62-57)
Head Coach: Bri Sims (University of Massachusetts Lowell, 2013); 4th season at Dallas. Spent three years as an assistant coach at Hendrix, and helped the Warriors to a Southern Athletic Association Tournament title and NCAA Division III tournament appearance in her first season in Conway.

LAST WE MET
The Crusaders won the first leg of the home-and-home 64-57 at Grove Gymnasium in Conway on November 27. Dallas led 39-29 at the break and was able to withstand a second-half surge by the Warriors the see the game out. Seniors Madi Pierce and Blysse Harmon were each a rebound away from recording a double-double.

ROAD WARRIORS
This will be the third official away contest for the Warriors this year, having opened the season in Clarksville, Ark. versus the Ozarks Eagles on November 8 before defeating the Centenary Ladies in Shreveport on November 18. Hendrix played exhibition contests at in-state foes Arkansas State and Central Arkansas earlier this season.

DOUBLE DIGIT DUO
Madi Pierce enters Tuesday's contest averaging 13.9 points per game, with fellow backcourt member Blysse Harmon averaging 10.7 PPG. Harmon currently ranks fifth in Free Throw Percentage in the SAA, shooting 80.4% on 46 attempts from the stripe this season.
