Box Score Conway, Ark. - Hendrix hosted the Fontbonne (Mo.) Griffins in a rematch of last year's non-conference match-up. Fontbonne ultimately prevailed 68-64 in a back-and-forth affair at Grove Gymnasium.
Madi Pierce led the Warriors with 21 points.
Blysse Harmon added 13 points, and
Megan Gray was sharp from behind the arc with four 3-point field goals.
Bella Cates added three 3-pointers of her own to finish with 9 points.
The loss drops Hendrix to 2-7 on the year.
The Warriors will be back in action on Dec. 20 when they travel to Dallas to take on the Crusaders for the return leg of a home-and-home. TIp-off is set for 1:00 p.m. CT.
